Submission Rules

This period for submissions will run until 1 April 2026 (01/04/2026). Before submitting your paper, make sure to read first the following guidelines.

General

Submission topic: Environmental law and its intersection with Health law

Within ELSA International’s Annual Human Rights Campaign, this year’s focus is on the topic of human rights and climate justice. In line with the campaign, as the editorial board, we believe that an important aspect of climate justice are conversations around health in general, and health law.

The submission topic for this year's edition, therefore, is Environmental law and its intersection with Health law.

Within this scope, there are many interconnected issues covering other areas of law including, for example, energy law, consumer protection, or even international armed conflicts.

How would an environmental law based national export ban on internationally crucial raw minerals hold up against international trade law scrutiny? How can we legally rationalize the necessity of AI assistants when every 100 word response from ChatGPT-4 requires approximately 520ML of water? We invite you to submit any articles that fall within the scope drafted above. However, any piece of academic writing will still be accepted for submission.
