The European Law Students' Association (ELSA) is an international, independent, non-political and non-profit organisation, directed by and for law students and recent graduates alongside their studies. Founded in 1981 by Austrian, Hungarian, Polish and West German law students; we envision a just world in which there is respect for human dignity and cultural diversity. Thereby, we strive to provide exemplary academic and personal experience to today's law students through skill development, network building, as well as to prepare them for the professional field through mutual understanding, intercultural cooperation and countless events. We currently serve 50,000 members across 375 law faculties from 44 countries, the functioning and the coordination of whom is under the responsibility of the ELSA International Board in Brussels.
Thanks to ELSA, we are able to organize Moot Court Competitions and Webinars, provide insightful legal analyses via the ELSA Law Review, help students develop their personal and professional skills throughout the summer months, and much more.
