Academic Tutoring

Dear students,

We are happy to announce that ELSA Groningen will also provide tutoring in Block 2 of the academic year 2021/22 and is looking forward to many sign-ups!

Tutoring for the following courses is available for this block and will start in week 3:

  • Criminal Law (in person)

  • Legal History (in person)

  • Public International Law (either in person or online)

  • Law, Power and Politics (either in person or online)

  • Data Protection and Human Rights (online)

The procedure to sign up for tutoring has changed a little. Please read the explanation below carefully before signing up.

First, you will have to sign up through the following link: https://forms.gle/yr21kNPV3wwz9tFD7 before Monday Nov. 29 at 23.59 pm. This sign-up is binding!

After the preliminary sign-up, you will receive an email with the password to access the shop, which you can access under elsagroningen.org/about-3-1. Please make sure to purchase the correct item (Member/Non-Member) as full refunds cannot be issued. Please note that both Member and Non-Member items will be placed in the same shop this time. Should you have purchased an incorrect item, please contact treasurer.groningen@nl.elsa.org.

Due to complications in the past block, you will have to purchase one singular item for five tutoring sessions, which will take place from week 3 to week 7 on a regular basis. It is not possible to purchase less than five sessions as the tutoring sessions are planned accordingly.

If you are not able to attend a certain tutoring session, you can ask for your tutor to send you the materials used, a recording, etc. Your tutor will decide on a case-by-case basis on how to proceed. In general, the tutoring sessions will be scheduled in a manner that it should be possible for each and everyone to attend. Please note that you will not be eligible for a refund should you miss a session.
